Elaine McCabe M.A.
Multimedia Composer

Elaine is an Irish composer based in Dublin with a passion for creating immersive scores for film, television and gaming. A classically trained pianist and singer, she began her musical education at an early age fostering a deep passion for music that led to the successful completion of a Master of Arts in Scoring for Film, TV and Interactive Media in 2024.
Her recent projects include composing for documentary film, most notably a work based on the Irish air 'The Foggy Dew' featured in 'The Legacy of Joe Poole'. She enjoys drawing on traditional sources while developing an individual contemporary voice.
Previously, her successful collaboration with Top Floor Films yielded scores for several short films including ‘Don Sanjay’ and ‘Behind Closed Doors’ (IMDB). In gaming she partnered with Galvanic Ltd, the innovative Irish company who created the PIP, a biosensor that helps you relax through play. Elaine was the composer behind the ‘Race and Relax’ games on the PIP. She also published children’s piano pieces for the Royal Irish Academy of Music’s piano exam syllabus.
Elaine composed and recorded music for chamber ensemble and symphony orchestra at Windmill Lane Studios, Dublin and Sierra Studios, Athens. She is also skilled in creating orchestral scores and producing professional mock-ups in Logic.
